Surprise Find

I was out shopping yesterday with my friend Bailey and we stopped at Staples to take a quick look around. I was browsing the sale bins when I found an “energy usage monitor” that plugs into the wall and your device and measures how much electricity it’s using. Apparently it can tell you in wattage and in dollars, and can project CO2 emissions for the year, or something like that.

One of the things on my tiny house house to-do list is to find out how much electricity everything I’ll have in my house will use, so this is perfect, and it was only $20! I haven’t tried it yet, but hopefully it works!

I’ll still have to google some things because I don’t plan on crawling behind the fridge, but this will be helpful to see how much energy my various electronics use.
