There’s a sale going on at Canadian Tire, so my mum and I went to look at (and feel the weight of) drills, with the intention of me buying an 18 volt Dewalt drill. It was really heavy, so we looked at the corded Dewalt drill and then Black and Decker and Mastercraft and this one and that one, cordless versus corded, oh this one has a 100 piece bit set, and on and on and on. We ended up leaving without buying anything.

When we got home, I looked up reviews online and ended up confirming what I already assumed: you can’t go wrong with Dewalt.

Today’s my only day off during the sale, so I went right back and bought the Dewalt corded drill. Now, it wasn’t one of the ones on sale, but it was cheaper, lighter, and more powerful than the 18 volt cordless Dewalt drill (that was on sale). And I had a coupon for $5 off 😛

Taking several hours and two trips to get it kind of dampened my excitement, but I like it a lot!

Too clean. It doesn’t look right until it’s broken in. 🙂
